For educational institutions, NGOs and government organizations:
You will be provided with a form to be signed by your institution's directorate, which will be emailed to you. Contact us at support@geotrust.com or call us at 1-866-436-8787

Selecting an individual:

You must also provide, via fax and on company letterhead, a letter selecting the individual as the recipient of the ISV Certificate. This should be the administrative/technical contact entered in the enrollment process ahead, and the nomination letter must match the information provided in the enrollment process. This includes the name, email address, and other additional information being provided.

The individual must provide one of the following:
  • Photocopy of the picture page of their passport
  • Photocopy of a drivers license if it contains a picture
  • Photocopy of a government issued picture identification
All photographs and pictures must be readable and recognizable. If a photograph's image is poor, you will be emailed to resend the fax, or to provide a better and clearer form of identification.

Note: All documentation and correspondence must be provided in English or be accompanied by an English translation.

Letter of Authorization (LOA)
Organizations must submit an LOA on company letterhead that states:
  • Organization will comply with the security requirements as outlined in the Subscriber Agreement
  • Signatory is a member of the Organization and authorized to select the Recipient
  • Recipient's name and that they are a member of the Organization
  • Serial number of the Recipient's identity card, driver’s license or passport
  • Signatory must sign name, print name and print title
