My Credential for Adobe—Enrollment Process
Enrolling for a My Credential for Adobe® Acrobat® certificate consists of the following steps:
- Receiving a USB Token—GeoTrust will mail a blank USB token that you will use in conjunction with your certificate. A user guide with detailed instructions on how to prepare for and complete the certificate download process including driver installation will be included with the token shipment.
- Email Notification—An email with links to download both the USB Token Drivers and My Credential for Adobe® Acrobat® certificate will be sent shortly after identity verification is completed. DO NOT START THIS PROCESS UNTIL YOU HAVE RECEIVED THE USB TOKEN.
- Installation Readiness—The following is needed in preparation of Certificate Enrollment:
- Access to the Internet to acquire the necessary drivers and obtain the certificate
- Close out all non-essential applications prior to starting the process as you’ll be prompted to restart.
- Have the one-time use Enrollment PIN that was provided at Registration handy, as you will need this to download your certificate.
- Establish a token passphrase that will be used to protect the certificate stored on your USB token. GeoTrust recommends selecting a 8 digit mixed character password (passphrases are case sensitive). You will need to remember this passphrase each time you use your My Credential for Adobe® Acrobat® certificate.
