My Credential for Adobe - Requirements
My Credential for Adobe® Acrobat® is used in conjuntion with a USB token that will be delivered to the address you provided in the registration form. Upon certificate approval, you will receive an email providing you a link where you can download your My Credential for Adobe® Acrobat® certificate onto your USB token.
System Requirements
- Adobe Acrobat Standard or Professional version 7.07+ or higher
- A system running one of the following platforms:
- Windows 2000
- Windows XP Professional
- Internet Explorer 6.0+
- Acrobat Standard or Professional 7.07+
- USB token Drivers (provided by GeoTrust) including SmartCard services
Hardware Requirements
- A 486 or later processor
- A minimum of 64 Mbytes of RAM.
- An available USB port for the token reader
A portable certificate for anytime, anywhere security.
Each PDF document is signed individually, using a secure, two-factor process. A SafeNet® FIPS 140-1 Level 2 cryptographic USB token is issued to an individual or a department. The token holds the verified signer's CDS certificate so you can certify your PDF documents from any workstation running on a supported environment.

Certified document signing ensures the highest level of document security and verification because the user’s or department’s digital credentials are stored on a cryptographic hardware device and are issued by a certificate authority that is:
- WebTrust-certified using strict guidelines, and
- approved by Adobe.
