Install Power Server ID True Site Seal
To install the Power Server ID True Site Seal, simply add the following lines to each web page on which you want the True Site Seal to appear:
<!-- GeoTrust QuickSSL [tm] Smart Icon tag. Do not edit. --> <SCRIPT LANGUAGE="JavaScript" TYPE="text/javascript" SRC="//smarticon.geotrust.com/si.js"></SCRIPT> <!-- end GeoTrust Smart Icon tag -->
These instructions will retrieve your Power Server ID registration data from the Power Server ID registry server and cause the Power Server ID True Site Seal to be displayed on your web page. Remember, the web page on which you place this Power Server ID Seal must use exactly the same domain that is in your Power Server ID enrollment application. For instance, if the enrollment is for www.example.com, then the Power Server ID registration is for that site, and does not include other fully qualified domains like www2.example.com.
Important note: Use of the Power Server ID service is subject to the terms and conditions of the Power Server ID Subscriber Agreement. You must agree to those terms and conditions if you use the Power Server ID service. You are indicating your acceptance of that agreement by installing the Power Server ID True Site Seal on your web site.
Above is a snapshot of the GeoTrust True Site Seal. The actual site will disable right click and save features and will display a live date/time stamp much like the True Site displayed on the bottom of this page
FrontPage installation: In order to properly install your Power Server ID True Site Seal on your web site using FrontPage you will need to follow one of the two procedures below. Otherwise FrontPage will change the HTML code for the seal, causing the icon to function improperly.
Method 1
One way to add the Tag with Frontpage 2000 is as follows:
1. Open the html page (*.htm, *.html, *.asp, or whatever) and put the cursor where you want the icon to appear
2. In the main menu, choose Insert -> Web Component -> Advanced Controls -> HTML to open up the HTML Markup dialog
3. Paste the second line (the non-comment line) of the Tag into the dialog as shown below in Figure 1 and click OK.
4. Save the file (in the menu File->Save, or press CTRL-S)
<!-- webbot bot="HTMLMarkup" startspan --> <SCRIPT LANGUAGE="JavaScript" TYPE="text/javascript" SRC="//smarticon.geotrust.com/si.js"></SCRIPT> <!-- webbot bot="HTMLMarkup" endspan -->
The opening and closing webbot comments seem to prevent "file:" from being added when the page is opened and then saved in Frontpage.
Method 2
The other way to essentially accomplish the same thing is to open the HTML source file in a text editor such as Notepad and add the webbot comment lines manually. Before the Tag, add:
<!-- webbot bot="HTMLMarkup" startspan -->
And after the Tag, add:
<!-- webbot bot="HTMLMarkup" endspan -->
So that your HTML source looks like:
<!-- webbot bot="HTMLMarkup" startspan -->
<!-- GeoTrust QuickSSL [tm] Smart Icon tag. Do not edit. --> <SCRIPT LANGUAGE="JavaScript" TYPE="text/javascript" SRC="//smarticon.geotrust.com/si.js"></SCRIPT> <!-- end GeoTrust Smart Icon tag -->
<!-- webbot bot="HTMLMarkup" endspan -->
